Time to embrace the new season (well, other countries’ season, as you all know, I’m from a tropical country and we only have two seasons: hot & hotter ;D). And when new season comes, means new line-up. Sadly there are only four anime titles that I’m looking forward to. I know, it’s kinda sad the winter titles aren’t that good. Two of ‘em are sequels and the other two are new titles.

Tokyo Ghoul √A 『東京喰種トーキョーグール√A』

Episodes: 12
Aired: Jan 8, 2015
Studio: Pierrot

Ok, I’m so excited with this one. I still loved the anime even though some people want curse it and buried deep in the Pacific Ocean. I’m one of those manga readers who also happen to enjoy it despite how the anime studio butchered and crammed the 60 chapters in 12 episodes anime. Sure, I disliked the treatment but it was still enjoyable and without it, I would have known the series and wouldn’t be this huge TG fanatic that I am right now. So yeah, that’s my two cents.

For this sequel, however, a changes—big changes must be anticipated. One, it would be different from the manga. Also heard the Sui Ishida, the mangaka himself wrote the storyline. So despite not being faithful, I have strong faith that it’ll still as interesting as the original manga content. Two, I heard some rumors that these were ideas that Ishida wanted in the manga but was cutoff. So it’ll be very interesting to know what those are. So yeah, I’m excited here, fidgeting right now because they’ll air the very first episode this week.

PS. I’m quite sad that TK is not gonna sing the Op. I have so many expectations for the newest OP. It should be as hunting and relevant as the former! You better be!

Assassination Classroom『暗殺教室, Ansatsu Kyōshitsu』

Episodes: TBA
Aired: Jan 10, 2015
Studio: DAX Production

I watched the OVA and didn’t like it. Well, not loathed it but I hardly understand a thing. Sis said that they animated later/middle part of the story so I wouldn’t appreciate knowing I have absolutely no idea what’s the story so far. But what’s interesting though is that this series, I highly ranked on WSJ series, as well the manga sales are remarkable. So there’s something in there that is worth investing. Must see that on the anime.

Death Parade『デス・パレード』

Episodes: 12
Aired: Jan 10, 2015
Studio: MADHOUSE

Madhouse did this, sounds intriguing and well it really, really sounds intriguing. I have zero idea what’s the series is all about sans the little blurb I read (which is rather vague and puzzling). But among all the line-up that I checked out this is the only that piqued my interest. I already expect a top notch anime quality because Madhouse is behind it. So yeah, I’m pumped!

Kuroko’s Basketball 『黒子のバスケ』 (Season 3)

Episodes: TBA
Aired: Jan 11, 2015
Studio: Production IG

I don’t have much to look forward in this season except the final game (Rakuzan vs. Seirin) because you know when it comes to KnB, I’m all Aomine! He’s my favorite but the third season will highlight other characters (although we have Teiko arc but I’m not really in to “Pure-mine” as my sister aptly called him. I want him badass and in-the-zone guy). But I want to see how it’ll wrap-up. I’m not a manga reader. I’m anime exclusive (although sometimes I flip pages of my sister’s copies and some omakes are funny, haha). I’m still contended just watching the anime only.

Of course, I still have Nanatsu no Taizai and Akatsuko no Yona from last season. And maybe Kiseijiuu? We’ll see. We’ll see.
