Hi everyone, welcome to PROJECT SIXTY-TWO also known as ‘Warner Centric Countdown to Ignite Me.’ But because the latter was long (although aptly named) I decided to rename it to Project 62. If you didn’t know the significance of the number I guess you haven’t read Unravel Me (and I’m closely looking at you with disdain) and if you haven’t read it you’re missing a whole lot. You should go buy the book, curl up in quiet space and read it.
Anyways, what’s up with this little project of mine? If isn’t obvious I’m a huge fan (that’s really a massive understatement of the year) of Warner. And I’m irrevocably in love with him and Juliette. I badly wanted them to end up together. I have read Chapter 62 623497495036727th times already (and more to come!) and I think I might have memorized it already. Because y’all, I ship hard. And sometimes I go all out when it comes to it.
This project will run for 9 weeks and as much as I would love to post every day, I don’t think I’ll be able to come up unique ideas for a 62-day event. So I’m going to do it weekly. Still not bad, yes?

So to celebrate this day, I’m going to start with an introduction. And this post is called:
Everything first: an introduction to Aaron Warner
As the line in the song says, let’s start from the very beginning, the very great place to start. So let me introduce/reintroduce you to the regent of Sector 45 and the son of supreme commander of The Reestablishment, Aaron Warner Anderson.
*Note: Information is based on Condensed Fact Sheet which can be found on Destroy Me. (You can purchase the e-book here)
Warner also has tattoos: One is in his upper back that says:
And the other one on his lower back that says:
hell is empty and all the devils are here
Warner has a very strong personality which he needed to oversee 3,700 soldiers. His soldiers fear him. According to him, being feared is the only thing he required for his men to follow him. But in reality he thinks of himself as a coward. That his calculating, ruthless and cold leadership was nothing but a farce but as long as his soldiers cower to his demands that would be enough.
Juliette many times had described Warner has impeccably dressed (and beautiful). His suit is always perfectly pressed, as well as his hair is expertly combed. Not a blemish in sight. Recently it was revealed, thanks to a generous teaser by Mafi Mafia (a Tahereh Mafi fanblog) Warner has soft spot for fashion (no wonder he insisted Juliette to wear the clothes he had given her). Warner also admitted that he has an obsession to cleanliness. This is to compensate the filth brought by the war. His hygiene is important to him. In fact, he loves to take long baths. He even has his own regime: from his nails to his perfectly laundered clothes.
Warner was fascinated by Juliette. At first he was intrigued with her ability and behavior; he did want to use her for war. He was also already infatuated by her in the early stages of the story. He always described her as pretty but remained professional. But I guess things didn’t go according to his plan when he realized that they were similar in so many ways. And he wanted her, not as weapon anymore but a friend and a lover. The question is will she let him?

Warner (+Juliette) First: (A glimpse)
First appearance: Warner first appeared on Shatter Me (the first book of the series with same title); on page 49.
Warner’s first word (in Shatter Me):
Warner’s first dialogue (in Shatter Me):
(See photo above)
Juliette’s First Impression:
“I’m immediately struck by his youth. He can’t be much older than me.
It’s obvious he’s in charge of something, though I have no idea what. His skin is flawless, unblemished, his jawline sharp and strong. His eyes are the palest shade of emerald I’ve ever seen.

How did Warner describe Juliette when they first met? Stubborn.
What was Juliette first reaction to Warner: She hated him.
When did Warner started calling Juliette love? It was on Shatter Me page 55.
“Don’t struggle, love. You’ll only make things more difficult for yourself.”
When was the first time Warner touched Juliette: It was on page 189 when she and Adam decided to run. Warner tried to grab her leg and nothing happened to him.
Warner & Juliette’s first kiss: On page 266 (Shatter Me).
“And he kisses me. Hungrily. Desperately. Eager to break me open and taste me.”
Warner’s first genuine smile?: It was on Unravel Me (it was also can be read on Destroy Me but Juliette’s description was so much better) when Juliette saw him feeding the dog. He laughed and he smiled. A real one this time. She had never seen him this way which according to her was nothing less than perfect. In fact it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.
Want more? That’s only a teaser of my project, tune in again next week for other fun facts and whatnots that all center on Warner (and Juliette).
