Another year means another round of bookish excitement. New books as far as the eye can see! :hearts: I know many of you are already eyeing those awesome books and already added them to our (never ending, almost not decreasing) TBR pile. There are new books on the horizon that I’m really thrilled to read.  :D Sequels that I’m majorly fangirling now.  :YAY: And then finales that simultaneously make me feel excited and nervous to read. As a part of Aeropaper’s Countdown to 2014, here are my Top 15 Most Awaited Novels of 2014 (Starters, Sequels & Finales):

Starters (or Standalone):

  • After the End (After the End #1) by Amy Plum
  • Rebel Belle (Untitled Series #1) by Rachel Hawkins
  • The Murder Complex (The Murder Complex #1) by Lindsay Cummings
  • The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
  • White Hot Kiss (The Dark Elements #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

* Except for White Hot Kiss, I’m fortunate enough to have ARCs for most of the titles above (for The Winner’s Curse just a sampler). Thank you dear publishers for the awesomeness!

Sequels (or Next in the Series):

  • Chasing Stars (After Eden #2) by Helen Douglas
  • Frozen (Taken #2) by Erin Bowman
  • Silver Shadows (Bloodlines #5) by Richelle Mead
  • Tether (Many-Worlds Trilogy #2) by Anna Jarzab (Official Book Cover Unavailable)
  • Untitled (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J. Maas (Official Title & Book Cover Unavailable)

  • Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi
  • Love Reborn (Dead Beautiful #3) by Yvonne Woon
  • Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy #3) by Wendy Higgins
  • The Defiant (The Forsaken #3) by Lisa M. Stasse
  • The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #3) by Michelle Hodkin

I wanted to include Into the Still Blue but since I already read it (and loved it!) I opted not to.

These are only my top list, I have so many books I’m already ogling and I can’t wait to read ‘em.

So how about you wonderful bookish peeps, what are your most awaited books for 2014, please share it with me! @.@

I cannot wait for Love Reborn.

    • Mitchii G. says:

I read Love Eternal as an ARC so it was painstakingly long waiting for me to read the Love Reborn. But yay, the waiting will finally come to an end! Thanks Amber. :)

  2. Sarah says:

I’m so excited for a whole lot of these, too!

  3. Shannelle C. says:

Dear Mitchii, I hate you for getting that Into the Still Blue ARC. No wait, I meant getting approved. Like, I’m just frothing at the mouth here. Frothing.

And The Winner’s Curse just looks lovely, and I wish I could read Sweet Peril! I’ll just have to satisfy myself with Kai extras.

    • Mitchii G. says:

Haha, I’m pre-approved on all HC titles. ;) Don’t worry it’s is officially January therefore you’re gonna read it soon, too.

I have this title for like months, I’m starting to read it. And so far it’s so yummy good. :P

  4. Anna Partrick says:

Super jealous that you have Rebel Belle! I do have a friend with a paper ARC though, who was going to let me borrow when she’s done. Can’t wait! Also, I am seriously jonesing for ALL your finale picks except for Defiant, cause I’ve never read that series. I never see anything about the Dead Beautiful series anywhere – I was beginning to think no one else knew it existed! :p Great list!

    • Mitchii G. says:

I’m so excited to read it (and it seems you’ll get to read as well). Oh I really recommend Forsaken & Dead Beautiful. I’m so sad that they’re not that popular but I really love them and I want people to start reading them. (Dead Beautiful is on Netgalley and on “Read Now” why don’t you try it out. Oh btw, it’s a zombie book). ;D

Thanks Anna for dropping by. :3

    • Anna Partrick says:

That’s great! I’ll let my friends know that Dead Beautiful is on NG. I really enjoyed that book and can’t wait to read the conclusion to the series! :D I feel like for being a Disney-Hyperion publication, it sure does get ignored a surprising amount. Kind of a head-scratcher…

    • Mitchii G. says:

Exactly, not many know about this title which is a shame considering it’s really an entertaining series. And that says a lot because I’m not really a big fan of zombies. I hope your friend will try it out (and hopefully will enjoy it!) :D
